We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in January 2022, that through donations, grants, volunteers, and staff can provide dedicated care to farm animals in need. It is our goal to rehabilitate and rehome as many of the rescues as possible. And give comfort and dignity to the ones we can't. Dana Mendoza, HHERR's founder, has always had a go for situations like this, rescuing and bettering the lives of horses. She believed that being in a position to help the influx of cases due to the changing economy would be the best option. So with this in mind, she came up with the initial idea to make HHERR a reality to handle these cases and also provide relief to both humans and horse in these situations. Since then, with the help from the community, the rescue continues to grow and help more people and horses.
